Get Involved
We invite you to join with your neighbors and local businesses in building neighborhood pride in Waverly Hills – the charming place we all call home. Below you will find helpful information as well as a set of links/websites to Arlington County and the Waverly Hills Civic Association resources, and please feel free to connect with us on social media!
Pay your dues and participate as a voting member of WHCA. A collective voice is a more powerful voice for advocating to the County – there are many issues including potholes, water main breaks, keeping our park open for sledding and dog walking, developing a safer walk to school, decreasing glare from street lights, aging in place, expanding ART routes & Bike Share stations, improving snow removal, and others.
You can simply participate through membership dues or you can play a more active role. Attend bi-monthly meetings – normally Wednesday nights at Glebe School, join a committee, or run for office. Become a decision-maker, help select issues & guest speakers, planning for Woodstock Park’s evolving character, or helping to plan the Election Day Bake Sale. Help to organize Special Events including the Woodstock Movie Night or the ghoulish annual Halloween decorating contest – hundreds participate every year to make Waverly Hills a special place for people of all ages.
Welcome to the WHCA!
