About

WHCA Header

Waverly Hills is a neighborhood in Arlington, Virginia just outside of Washington, DC.  It has been described by Redfin as "the neighborhood we are all looking for" and identified as one of the top real estate markets in the nation in 2021.

The Waverly Hills Civic Association (WHCA) welcomes your support with our efforts to help ensure that our neighborhood continues to be an inviting place in which to live. For only $10 a year, you can learn about issues in the neighborhood and help to fund fun events in the neighborhood. These activities include the Holiday House Decorating contest, the Light The Night Halloween Parade in Woodstock Park co-sponsored with the Langston Boulevard Alliance; and our annual Selfies With Santa event at Glebe School which is a successful fundraiser for the Arlington Food Assistance Center.

All residents of our neighborhood are welcome; whether you are renting an apartment, live in a condo or duplex, or own a single family home, we invite you to participate in our community.

WHCA holds regular meetings in September, November, February, April and June. All of our meetings are widely announced with yard signs, on Nextdoor.com, and via our member email list. While these meetings are usually held at the Glebe Elementary School, they are sometimes scheduled as Zoom meetings instead.
