About the Event
County update from 11/10: We are nearing completion in the upcoming 1-2 weeks. The contractor will be working on the punchlist items this week with plans to remove the fence and open the park by the week of November 17-21, 2025.
Park improvements at Woodstock Park under the Arlington Neighborhoods Program project include a shade structure, fencing, site furnishings, pathway lighting and electrical outlets, basketball hoop, and landscaping. Full details about the project can be found in this county presentation.
The park’s construction work will consist of two phases as follows:
Phase 1 - August 11-29, 2025 - Electrical work for pathway lighting Park will remain open during this time.
Phase 2 - September – November 2025 (Exact dates to be determined) Shade Structure and Basketball Hoop installation Park will be closed during this work.
