WHCA Woodstock Park Project Meeting - October 2023
The WHCA will host a special meeting at Glebe School Wednesday, October 11th. The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss and vote on whether to approve a project to improve Woodstock Park that will be funded through the Arlington Neighborhoods Program.

About the Event
Planned improvements to the Park under this project include adding partial fencing around the western and southern sides of the toddler playground; adding a shade canopy structure; planting shade trees; adding low-level pathway lighting along the main path through the park; adding two power outlets; adding more Adirondack chairs; replacing and adding picnic tables; adding a lower basketball hoop for younger children; seeding native plants under trees; and removal of invasive plants.
The meeting will be open to all members of the public. But only Waverly Hills Civic Association members will be permitted to vote. You can join the Civic Association at https://www.waverlyhills.org/join.
The agenda for the meeting is a presentation by County staff on the park-improvement project, discussion of the project, and a vote on whether or not to approve the project.
The meeting is being held in a location that is accessible to persons with disabilities and reasonable accommodation needs.
