About the Event
Click here to join the Zoom meeting on March 13th. The agenda for the meeting is below:
1. Which County responses to the questions we sent do we agree with, and which do we either disagree with or require more info?
2. Which land uses can we agree on as a committee? Types of passive park land? Other uses? Should we omit some?
3. What are the important considerations for lmanagement/maintenance of the sites?
4. What about scheduling? Shall we establish an April -November 2024 schedule for the Community Engagement Strategy?
5. Is there a point where we want to ask the County to pause property acquisition to understand whether or not the overland relief is working?
There will be many questions for us to discuss within the 6:30-8:30 time period.
The three primary points of discussion at the April 3 meeting at Glebe School with DES will be:
1. recommendations for land uses after the houses have been demolished,
2. landscape architecture plan (site plan) - schedule for design and community input,
3. departmental management and maintenance - DES/private contractor or DPR - short term and long term.
