About the Event
The Waverly Hills Civic Association will hold a special meeting by Zoom on Monday, May 6 at 7pm ET. The agenda for the meeting will be to discuss and vote on (1) the design of a project to improve Woodstock Park that will be funded through the Arlington Neighborhoods Program; and (2) selection of a new Arlington Neighborhoods Program project for Waverly Hills.
The Arlington Neighborhoods Program funds a variety of improvements to neighborhoods. Program projects may include construction or installation of sidewalks, intersection modifications, curbs and gutters, streetlights, stormwater control measures, park improvements, new trees, and beautification.
Over the past half-year, a Program project to improve Woodstock Park was approved by the Waverly Hills Civic Association, the Arlington Neighborhoods Advisory Committee, and the Arlington County Board.
