Arlington County is installing a new water main on the 1600 block of North Wakefield Street. This will extend an existing water main at 17th Street North and add a water distribution system on this block. County contractor Utilities Unlimited is scheduled to begin work on Monday, June 2.

PROJECT NOTIFICATION - Water Main Work at 1600 block of N Wakefield St Starting June 2
Arlington County is installing a new water main on the 1600 block of North Wakefield Street. This will extend an existing water main at 17th Street North and add a water distribution system on this block.
County contractor Utilities Unlimited is scheduled to begin work on Monday, June 2, finishing in approximately 4 weeks, weather permitting. Work will occur on weekdays from 7 a.m.- 4 p.m. No weekend work is anticipated for this project.
The water main installation project limits are from the intersection of 17th Street North and North Wakefield Street to halfway down the block, ending at 1615 North Wakefield Street. The water main installation process is detailed below.
