The biannual Arlington Environmental Collection and Recycling Event (E-CARE), allowing Arlington residents to safely dispose of household hazardous materials and electronics. Combine items with your neighbors and save trips to the collection site. For Arlington residents only so bring ID.

About the Event
The biannual Arlington Environmental Collection and Recycling Event (E-CARE), allowing Arlington residents to safely dispose of household hazardous materials and electronics.
Safely dispose of or recycle many items, including:
- Paint products
- Old electronics
- Garden chemicals
- Fire extinguishers
- Household cleaners
- Flammable solvents
- Automotive fluids
- Small metal items
- And more!
There is a fee only for the old-style cathode ray televisions ($20) and cathode ray computer monitors ($15). All other screen and monitor drop-offs are free. Cash must be exact change. Checks should be made payable to “Arlington County Treasurer.”
Note that bicycle donations will not be collected at Spring E-CARE 2024. Business and commercial wastes also will not be accepted.
